Description
This sturdy hedgehog house is made from sustainable wood and treated on the outside with a wildlife safe wood preserve. The roof overlaps the box and made from 100% recycled plastic, which is completely water and rot proof and also has small groves on the inside to prevent water from running in to the house. The roof is hinged and lockable to keep the hedgehog safe but allow for easy cleaning if the house is ever unoccupied – please don’t disturb the house during hibernation or baby season. It has a staggered entrance to protect the hedgehog inside and is designed to slope slightly to help with water drainage and a built in gap under to roof to allow for ventilation. It’s low design allows for ease of placement.
